Legion Legion
Five Stages Of Grief: Finale
Legion
SIN CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING Episode #847
Date:
Location:

We see Legion and Stigmata standing in a slightly lit location, we can assume the location is similar to where the previous Rev 22:20 promos have been shot so far, Legion is wearing black jeans and a Opeth Watershed album cover T shirt while Stigmata is wearing a Between The Buried And Me shirt.

The look on Legion’s face is one of a man that has started to lose the stoicism he’s proclaimed to have in the past, Varga once again trying to screw him over last week would probably start the insanity to any other wrestler.

Legion: So as it came to no surprise I lost a match that James Varga was presiding against however I’m not here to rant against him, I was sent an email by our esteemed co-authority figure in Miss Adrienne as the matter I talked to her a few weeks ago has been resolved.

Ladies and gentlemen of Sin City welcome Stigmata as a member of the esteemed roster for SCCW and as our first official engagement as a team we have been thrown into a number one contenders match against Atomic Surf Dogs (or as I like to call them Wild Stallions 2010) , the team of MEDS which is probably the most ironic name in this business given one’s probably on pain pills while the others on Ritalin or at least should be and finally the so called Heirs Of Wrestling.

When it comes to the latter I know that they’ve been trained by people such as Sonny Silver but there is a line between confidence and arrogance and given what I’ve seen of you so far not only in SCCW but in ACW and Empire Pro the latter seems to be the case.

Too much cockiness will be your undoing.

Stigmata and I do have an advantage against every single team in this match, you’ve only seen glimpses of what he can do, ask Spacely how it felt to be grabbed by the throat, ask Jared Sykes his reaction as he saw the fist nearly put his head through a vending machine.

He calls himself Stigmata for a reason as the wounds he will inflict will show a mark that will take a long time to heal and you will feel the pain for a long time even when you think it’s gone away.

We will make sure Luci will be at hand to stop any interference that gets in our way, she’s been through hell and back…”

Back to the past…

The phone was still ringing on the bed, Legion was showing signs of fear as he realised this could be the call that Ashe had just warned him about, he slowly picks up the phone and pressed the answer button with a reply more confident than how he was feeling.

“Miss Pierce I presume?”

'Gabriel, good evening.' The Spider in the Web's voice was quiet -- not its typical knife in the shadows whisper, but something else. Something tired. 'Thank you for taking my call.'

The look on Legion’s face was one of profuse apology, not close enough for his voice to sound like it was pleading but he couldn’t let the fear slip through.

“Alex, I’m sorry for what happened tonight, Luci must have found out and went to do something other than pay respects, it’s just a tricky situation for all of us.”

'We are all allowed our moments of sadness, Gabriel. I understand your friend's grief. I feel it as well.'

Somewhere Legion was curious, the anger he was expecting with the subtlety of repercussion being added wasn’t coming as quickly as he hoped, maybe Alex was toying with him, payback he thought for turning her offer down all those months ago.

'In truth, I thought it might be best to clear the air immediately. I had nothing to do with what happened to Lauren. You understand that, yes?'

'Of course.' The Devil's Reject had a mind like a steel trap, and he tried to parse her words, looking for the truth.

'I do not want there to be an issue between us. Any of us.' There was an undercurrent of sadness in the vaunted Director's voice. 'We both have our own issues -- issues that grow daily. We cannot afford to--'

'I understand, Alexandra. Perhaps you might speak with Luci?'

'I...' Her breath caught in what may have been a sigh. 'Of course.'

Luci then has the cell phone passed to her and begins to speak to Alex.

“Alex, I’d be lying if I said I regret doing what I did tonight, there is that reputation that the web seems to think of you however you must what it is like to feel some emotion in there, I mean you’ve had to change a big part of your life to be with someone despite all the odds, I was hoping to do the same but fate took it away from me again.”

Legion looked surprised at the remark Luci had just said, granted the past year had involved Luci nearly being buried alive over a man that turned out to be a Life Model Decoy by what turned out to be the actual person in New Frontier Wrestling’s Rook Black’s scheme but he had noticed Luci’s change in demeanour, she felt content.

Now the content that she felt with Savant had gone, the rage would return and as much as he saw that as an advantage in the ring… whether it would work right now at this moment remained to be seen.

'I am uncertain what to say here.' Had he heard it, Legion might be surprised the depth of Pierce's sadness. Had he seen her at this moment, everything he thought he knew would have been shattered. 'I will find out who has done this,' Alex promised. 'No matter the cost, I will not let this go unavenged. You have my word.'

Luci then whispered ’Thank you’ then ended the call.

Legion then turned and said “So that means we aren’t going to be killed? In that case let us get back to the plan for Varga…”

What Legion seemed to have forgotten however was what he had said before Alex had called, one day Luci would want to find out more but she knew how to bide her time…
